What is the task of the science-team?

The Science Team oversees the scientific work of EGEA. This is done by providing scientific guidelines and assistance to events within EGEA. The produced scientific output is furthermore collected and published by the Science Team. This is done in close collaboration with the European Geographer. The communication of scientific work from EGEA is enhanced through our Instagram channel, on which the weekly Fun-Fact-Friday posts are released. Another responsibility of the Science Team is to promote EGEA Theme Year (e.g., Agrifuture in 2024, Circular Economy in 2025, Geopolitical Risk in 2026).

Fun-Fact-Friday will be replaced by Science Saturday by the end of November. We release now every second week an informative post on a scientific topic linked to geography/geosciences.
