open call for the next Board of EGEA

Dear EGEAns

The Board of EGEA is tired and has decided that with half of our term over, the right time has come to hand over to the next generation of motivated EGEAns. This decision has not been made lightly, but we believe it’s in the best interest of the Association for us to retire by the 30th of April.

Therefore, with this we open the call for the next Board of EGEA. You can apply until the 10th of April at 23:59 CEST by sending your application to egea@egea.eu. Once we have received your application, more information on the promotion of the candidates will follow. The voting will take place at the Online General Assembly on the 21st of April. 

To ensure the most qualified people are elected, we established some basic requirements and some specific for each position, please apply ONLY if you fulfil all the criteria and include information on these in your application. 

General requirements

– to make sure the EGEA culture survives, you are required to sing two hit songs by heart, (attach the video to your application)

– show us how fast you are at BDC (attach the video to your application)

Special requirements:

President: certificate of yoga/meditation master

Vice president: make work of a BDC Team

Secretary: Find new entities at the southern European seaside, so EGEA Malta is no longer receiving 20 requests per year for exchanges to their sunny island which they need to decline (poor northern Europeans)

Treasurer: Never have broken a piggy bank 

EPRA: Host a congress in Wonderland
