CZECHOSLOVAK WEEKEND

The event starts on Friday, 13th November. We realize the location is pretty far for almost everyone, therefore on Friday we expect participants to arrive between 18-20pm (or later if prefered and agreed on with us).

This is a preliminary plan, that will most probably change. Be prepared, it may all be slightly punk.

We will be staying at field station BUK in Krásná Lípa. It’s located right on the border of the Lusatian Mountains and Bohemian Switzerland National Park in Northern Bohemia. It offers group accommodation along with fully equipped self-catering kitchens, lounge areas stocked with board games, table tennis, foosball, Wi-Fi, and an outdoor campfire pit. Bedding isn’t provided, so you’ll need to bring your own sleeping bag.

If you are travelling by car, well good for you (but bad for the environment!). Don’t forget to share any empty spots in the car with the other participants, so you can make the pain of this journey as pleasant as possible. Then just plug in the GPS coordinates and drive.

In any other case, you can take either a train or a bus to Krásná Lípa. Since a direct train or bus is unlikely, be prepared for a few transfers and a bit of navigation juggling along the way. You can check the best route here.

The accomodation is still a 20-30min walk from the stations. We will have a car there to help us with that, so whenever you arrive we can come pick you up from the train/bus station.

There is a 90% chance you will be travelling through Prague trying to get there. In case the journey would take unbearably long or you just want to make the ‘weekend’ even longer and more fun, feel free to reach out to us and we will try to find a way to accomodate you in Prague so you can divide the travels.

We believe that Czechoslovak spirit is something anyone can find within themselves. Whether you come from the magical grounds of former Czechoslovakia is nugatory, the most important is your true dedication to the culture, your spirit for the lands. Therefore, anyone is welcome to register, join us for the prolonged 5-day weekend and embrace the most hidden slavic parts of their soul.

The price of the event is 67€.
The fee includes accomodation, fees for the paid excursion activities, breakfast, dinner and non alcoholic drinks during the stay. The space for lunches is going to be provided during the excursions, but is not included in the price.
