GeoTrip: Cultural edition in Veliko Tarnovo

GeoTrip is a project involving a field trip, conducted as a practical activity outside of scheduled classes, aimed at enhancing students’ skills in understanding geographical realities, organizing and executing such activities, using modern tools for data collection and processing, and fostering group cohesion.

This year we set off on our first GeoTrip adventure abroad to Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. We organized various activities for this edition, but the most important one was the guided tour of the entire city led by our volunteers. It was complemented by a bingo game that participants could complete after gathering information from the guides. We also had a professor with us who told us about the city’s history and its importance for tourism.
