Ghent festivities 2024 (one day exchange)

Every year, for 10 days in July, the inner city of Ghent (Belgium) turns into a joyful summer party. This tradition dates back to 1843 and is one of the biggest folk festivities in Europe! In several squares and parks in Ghent there is a different vibe: you can party on the river, chill with some international music in the Baudelopark or see some brass band or street performers around every corners of the city, all for free. What’s not to like? Waffles, Belgian beer, anyone?
The Ghent Festivities are happening from July 19 until July 28, but EGEA Ghent invites you to join us for a one day exchange on friday July 26th. Please RSVP down below if you’re thinking of coming, we will add you to our WhatsApp group! We can offer a limited amount of places to stay if you send us a message via WhatsApp, first come first serve! Also: if you’re thinking of coming another day, you can hit us up and maybe we’ll join you ;).

There is some awesome music to discover, and we can go see the parade of the ‘stroppendragers’, but also: you can see Laïs, the singers of our beloved EGEA song’t Smidtje, live!
