GeoTrip: Mountain edition on Omu peak

GeoTrip is a project involving a field trip, conducted as a practical activity outside of scheduled classes, aimed at enhancing students’ skills in understanding geographical realities, organizing and executing such activities, using modern tools for data collection and processing, and fostering group cohesion.

On this GeoTrip, we enjoyed the magnificent scenery from Omu Peak. We also visited some of the most popular attractions: the Sphinx and the Old Ladies (Babele). Accompanying us on the trail were our teachers, who taught us about the geomorphological processes and the site’s importance for tourism. After the hike, we engaged in various team-building activities with the other participants.
