Founded in 1636, Utrecht University has evolved into a modern and leading institution with a growing international reputation. EduCitizens is project supported by the Erasmus Plus programme. It gathers 7 European partner organisations to explore smart practices in using participatory, empowering and citizenship methods in teaching. The goal of the project is to create evaluation systems which uncover smart practice methods and share them in a handbook for educators.
The European Youth Foundation (EYF) is a fund established in 1972 by the Council of Europe to provide financial support for European youth activities. Its purpose is to encourage co-operation among young people in Europe by providing financial support to European youth activities which serve the purpose of promoting peace, understanding and co-operation in a spirit of respect for the Council of Europe’s fundamental values such as human rights, democracy, tolerance and solidarity.

EUROGEO organises regular meetings, events, training courses and promotes geography and the work of geographers in European political circles. It is a network of professionals in the field and also publishes various peer reviewed publications.
GeoDACH represents the geographical student associations of German-speaking universities. The primarily task is to promote networking between different students associations. Especially concerning university politics and geographical issues. Twice a year GeoDACH members meet at Bundesfachschaftentagungen (BuFaTa). Furthermore, GeoDACH is a permanent member of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Geographie (DGfG), the german geographical society and delegates GeoDACH members to the national accreditation board.

IFISO is an informal forum for international officers of pluralistic, “non-political” and not-for-profit international (worldwide, European, etc.) student-run organisations. Currently the IFISO network consists of a multi-disciplinary mix of 27 such NGOs, covering more than 2 million students all together. Without a legal or formal status, IFISO creates the necessary environment for member organisations to strengthen their capacities through knowledge sharing and identification of synergies. The YNGO TN can be seen as a subgroup of the IFISO network that connects the training departments of 17 member associations to foster exchange of practices and knowledge, as well as to enable common events and exchange of places for participants and share open calls for trainers in a larger network. ThinkYoung is a Brussels based think tank concerned with young people. Placing a specific focus on the five fields of Education: Entrepreneurship; Environment & Energy; Enlargement; and EU-Asia, ThinkYoung conducts research, produces audiovisual documentaries, organises conferences and develops educational programmes. This provides young people with a vocal platform that ultimately aims to enhance conditions in Europe for the young generations.
The International Students of History Association (ISHA) is an international non-governmental organisation of students of history. Their goals are to facilitate communication and provide a platform of exchange for students of history and related sciences on an international level. ISHA believes that international perspectives constitute an important part of every student’s education. Membership is open for students (undergraduate through PhD) from all disciplines and backgrounds with an interest in history and historical science.
StudyPortals is the European study choice platform. Their mission: ”Empowering the world to choosen (for) education”. Their goal: bringing transparency for students to the wealth of international study opportunities. StudyPortals started out at the end of 2007 attempting to fill the massive information gap for finding international masters in Europe. They currently have more than 1,400 participating universities in 40 countries and consider International Student Associations to be their key partners in further developing their services and informing students about the assistance they can provide.
AFNEG (National Federative Association for Students in Geography) is an organisation which gathers local student organisations of Geography across France. A national board is elected every year during the National Congress by the administrators. However, AFNEG is more than one board; it is a national network of associative people who want to act together. And they act to promote associative engagement, represent students, and inform students about education possibilities.
International Forestry Students’ Association (IFSA) is a non political, non religious and not for profit organization that connects forestry students from all over the world. IFSA currently has about more than 90 Local committees from 45 countries. The European Youth Forum is the platform of youth organisations in Europe.
