Dear entities,

This year’s Annual Congress in Switzerland is approaching. This also means we need to find a motivated Organizers for the Annual Congress 2026!

We officially open the Call for Applications – Annual Congress 2026!

WHAT IS THE EGEA ANNUAL CONGRESS?

  • Annual Congress (AC) is the biggest and most important event in the EGEA year organised for at least 150 participants. The congress takes place in September and is an opportunity to get to know new EGEAns and meet old friends. 
  • The reason we organise the AC is to hold the Annual Meeting of the General Assembly (GA), where representatives from all entities come together to make decisions in our association. During the GA sessions we approve the new Board, RCPs and other EGEA officials.
  • The AC also holds Regional Meetings (RMs) – official meetings of EGEA regions led by the Regional Teams. Regional meetings at the AC serve to discuss proposals, sum up the EGEA year, present entity updates and promote events.
  • Also, the AC offers a rich scientific, leisure and evening program. Excursions, trainings, workshops, cultural evenings… there is so much to learn and discover!
