Pre-ERC 2015

TRAVEL-INFO:
To get to Kraków by plane or bus should be easy. If you have plane or bus earlier than Friday – it is not a problem!
EGEA Kraków has many friendly members – it will be a pleasure for them to host you 🙂
To get to Murzasichle from Kraków you can hitch-hiking (which is easy in Poland) or you can go there by bus. Bus tickets will cost you about 4-5 EURO extra. Part of PRE-ERC OrgaTeam will be hitch-hiking, part will go by bus, so you won’t feel like you were abandoned 😉
ACCOMODATION:
The PRE-ERC 2015 will take place in Kraków. Hostel is situated in 15th century historical building on the Main Square in Krakow – the biggest market square in Europe! Rooms have also a spectacular view of the Cloth Hall!!!
PROGRAM:
Friday: We will be ready for your arrival for the whole day! For dinner you’re going to try traditional Polish dinner and then we can start integration in Old Town with the rest of ERC 2015 OrgaTeam and EGEA Kraków!
Saturday:
10 a.m. Breakfast 11 a.m. Sightseeing:
- Market Square and St. Mary’s Church
- Wawel Royal Castle
- Collegium Novum
- Arena Kraków – place which is strongly connected with ERC 2015 topic. It is an indoor arena which hosted the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship tournament, and will host the 2015 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Division I and 2016 European Men’s Handball Championships
4:30 p.m. Surprise polish dinner in EGEA flat and evening program after this.
Sunday:
9:30 a.m. Breakfast 10:15 a.m. departure to Wieliczka and Wieliczka Royal Salt Mine visiting.
Salt mine reaches a depth of 327 metres and is over 287 kilometres long. The mine’s attractions include dozens of statues, three chapels and an entire cathedral that has been carved out of the rock salt by the miners.
3 p.m. Lunch
4 p.m. Travel back to Kraków and sightseeing in Jewish destrict – Kazimierz.
7 p.m. Dinner and evening programme
Monday:
10 a.m. Breakfast 12 a.m. Leaving to Murzasichle – the Congress place!
Of course, if you want to be a part of PRE-ERC 2015, you don’t have to be a Congress participant, but the priority to participate in the pre-event have people who are planning to go on the Congress.
