Wissenschaft und Wein

We are planning a day trip to the beautiful Ahrtal, a hilly wine region to the south of Bonn. First, our volunteer students will hold lectures to the themes of social meeting places in the area, the remembrance culture of the flood in 2021 and disaster management implemented in the aftermath. Then we will explore an important cultural element of the Ahrtal: wine!
We will hike through the valley of the Ahrtal discussing the lectures to gain some professional insights, but also not forgetting our special cultural aspect.

We will meet on Sunday, June 8, 2025 (exact times will follow) either at Bonn Central Station or directly in Ahrweiler. Sleeping places in Bonn for our external entities will be organised internally.
