About us

We are EGEA Vienna! We are a group of highly motivated students from the University of Vienna, and form a local entity of the European Geography Association (EGEA), a network of young geographers that is represented in around 75 cities all over Europe. Our goal is to bring geographers together, show them the beauty behind geography and all the aspects to it, and give them a friendly, open and inclusive environment, where they can exchange with each other and learn about geography from a different kind of view.

We as EGEA Vienna are offering you different events reaching from leisure to scientific activities, both organised by us locally in Vienna, and also show you all the other europe-wide events organised by other entities in Europe. Furthermore, we also offer exchanges with other entities, near or far, whatever you desire! As we are all students, we try everything to offer you all the activies for free or as cheap as possible! 🙂
