SUMMARY:Let's Talk about Slow Mobility! - Pandemic and Climate Crisis learnings
DESCRIPTION:2022 EGEA is focussing on pedestrians\, cyclists and other forms of slow mobility that enhance livability\, security and sustainable experiences in our local neighbourhoods. All together leading to more social interaction\, healthier lifestyles and human friendly streets. Planning of infrastructure\, transportation systems and living spaces in cities are very geographic topics but can also give knowledge and tools to urban eco-activists. Not only the climate crisis but also the recent pandemic posed us new challenges; we started working from home and we switched from car to bicycle. Let’s use the cross-learnings to develop more livable neighbourhoods. We are proud to present you a workshop for young people\, organised by young geographers on city planning potentials. Some of our EGEA members specialised in this field and Daan Pivacet\, a design expert from Utrecht\, will give us input and lead an exercise on mobility planning design.  This exercise will give you an inside and chance to learn about city design. \n\n\n\nAfterwards we warmly invite you to join the Green Bar. \n\n\n\n#TheGreenTrack #takeitslow #egeatheme #slowmobility #onthemove
