For its third edition\, we’re bringing you the “Camping Edition.” So\, grab your camping gear and hiking shoes and join us for a long weekend near the French border in the Palatinate Forest\, Germany’s largest continuous forest area. \n\n\n\nGot no plans at the end of June or need a break from university life? Come celebrate the start of summer with us! We’ll be camping together\, spending evenings around the campfire\, and hiking through the stunning Buntsandstein rock formations of the Palatinate Forest. \n\n\n\nThis year’s edition of Wine & Shine embraces a Roman theme – because not only the city of our entity\, Mainz\, was historically strongly influenced by the Romans. And of course\, we also want to stay true to our event’s name by getting to know the viticulture of the nearby Palatinate wine region with you. \n\n\n\nStay tuned\, we’re looking forward to seeing you! \n\n\n\nThe campsite and the surroundings\n\n\n\nPhotos: sv-lemberg.de \n\n\n\n\n\nProgram\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHow to get there\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTrain/Bus\nWe recommend traveling by train. Use the Deutsche Bahn website / app to find connections and book tickets. Take the train to “Pirmasens Hbf”. \n\n\n\nFrom there\, there are bus connections to Lemberg\, which runs at least hourly\, e.g. line 250 (Get off at “Ortsmitte\, Lemberg”) or 256 (Get off at “Kindergarten\, Lemberg”). You can also use the Deutsche Bahn app to check the bus connections and buy tickets (Just not together with the train on one ticket. You must buy the bus ticket separately) \n\n\n\nOnce you arrive\, it’s less than a 1 km walk to the campsite. \n\n\n\nIf you need any further help\, please do not hesitate to contact us. \n\n\n\n\nCar/Carpooling\nTry to drive together with others. We offer a carpooling table so that you can find or offer rides. \n\n\n\nIf you need any further help\, please do not hesitate to contact us. \n\n\n\n\nBike\nYou come from further away? You will receive a packing list and will also be given the possibilty to share tents with other people\, but you must be aware of this: To be able to participate\, you need bring items like an own tent (which you can of course share with other people)\, sleeping mat and sleeping bag.
