EGEA Tartu invites you to spend a memorable weekend in the heart of Estonia. We will spend time in the lovely nature, make new friends and discover, what being an EGEAn truly means.
We will start our 3-day event in a tiny Estonian village called Sürgavere. On the first day, after we have all arrived and had some lunch, we are going to visit the weather radar building where we are going to be shown around and given a little talk. There will also be a presentation about EGEA and the rest of the night will be dedicated to our homeland – Estonia. You will be able to try some of our foods and drinks, we will teach you some of Estonian dances and of course there is no Estonian Evening without sauna!
The next day we are going to have a nice relaxing hike around lake Viljandi and a social skills training session after that.
On the final day we will travel to Tartu, have little tour around the town and also see our Geography Department in University of Tartu.
The procedure regulating admission for our Newbie-weekend will be basically first-come-first-serve, but if there are more than 2 registrations from one entity, we will give other (and a bit slower) people from other enitities also a chance and the third person from an entity will be moved to the waiting list.
There are 12 places reserved for newbies only and a total of 5 oldies will get a place to our event.
If you register and are enlisted to our event, you will receive a letter with the payment information within a few days. If you fail to pay for the right time, you will be excluded from the attendance list.
We are looking forward to meeting you all!
